Our Purpose
The Sabah Young Business & Industry Leaders Network (SYBIL) was formed to mobilize young Sabahan business & industry players to contribute to building a stronger Sabah Future Economy.
Our goals are simple: provide a platform for young leaders to share their innovative ideas and collaborate with the Government to turn those ideas into action. We believe in doing, not just talking!
SYBIL also acts as a powerful network and resource, promoting international connections, boosting investor confidence, supporting peer-to-peer learning and growth, and attracting talent back to Sabah. Together, these efforts improve Sabah’s competitiveness in Southeast Asia, leading to a brighter future for all.

Our Code of Conduct
Learning & Growth Attitude
We come to SYBIL to learn and grow together. We do not come with an attitude that we know it all, but as peers amongst other leaders and industry captains.
Non Solicitation
No hard-selling products or services at events or to members. We only offer them if requested. Our aim is to build a safe environment for learning and growth where business owners do not feel bombarded by salespeople.
Politically Neutral
SYBIL is a politically neutral organization focused on solving real-world problems with the government, without being used for political purposes. We invite Sabah Young Industry Leaders from all backgrounds to help build a better future for Sabah’s economy over the next 5, 10, 20 years.
Confidentiality
Any sensitive or deeply personal sharing about individuals’ entrepreneurship journeys should be kept confidential. Our goal is to foster a safe environment built on trust and respect.
